I had my blog mostly typed up and it just wasn't going where I wanted it to, so I started over. Of course, now I have nothing to say. I did come across a very interesting column today in the Straight Dope. The article might be too much for the squeamish but the pursuit of science has always required a strong stomach.

A guy in a tire shop in Ogden died as the result of an air hose prank in the early 60's. I don't know which is sadder -- the tragedy of the accident or the sad fact that I'm old enough to remember it.

i guess i dont understand the appeal of shoving an airhose up your own butt. i can think of some people i would like to try it to, but myself? i don't think so.
