We got a big snow storm yesterday, which lasted until this morning. It was pretty bad. I had co-workers tell me that it took them three and a half hours to drive home last night. Their commute is normally 45 minutes. I did pretty good on the way home last night, but this morning I evidently choose poorly and ended up in one of the many parking lots, which extended my 20 minute commute out to an entire hour. The worst of the storm is past, but not for me: I haven't done any shoveling, so that's what waits for me this evening.
Dreaming of a snow blower

When your driveway starts at the street and ends in your backyard and doubles in width halfway back, then you need a snow blower. Yes, you need a snow blower.
The rains during Christmas was lovely and warm.
I do miss the beach.
My commute got redirected by a car accident, and it took me a half hour to get home, it usually is 10 minutes.
In the morning, I got up an half hour earlier, and got to work just in time.
It's been kind of cold down here in Tucson, I think the high was only 67 today. Earlier in the week we were in the upper 70's, it was just horrible.
O-N-E
That is what the thermometer said this morning. I was confused, thought maybe a digit had been fogged over, but alas when I saw the .6 I knew that indeed 1.6 was the temp. It said 24 at lunch, but I think that is only because it is against the house and facing the sun (which in February is not overhead but somewhere near the south horizon.) Supposed to get cold spell tomorrow...
Someone sent me this fun link, since Ross neglected us again ;)
